Sytheon_Synoxyl_AZ_AgingSytheon develops Synoxyl® AZ (Acetyl Zingerone), a multi-targeted anti-aging molecule designed to counteract aging before it happens and to reverse the signs of photoaged skin. AZ neutralizes photooxidative stress and nurtures skin’s own ability to maintain the integrity of the ECM for optimal health and appearance throughout life.

Reduces Skin Redness in Photoaged Skin

AZ is an all-in-one with antioxidant, physical quencher and selective chelator. It has the ability to reduce both immediate and delayed DNA damage. The ingredient has photochemical stability that provides ongoing performance as an antioxidant on sun-exposed skin in contrast to many conventional antioxidants, such as vitamin E and resveratrol.

The novel ingredient has validated performance in placebo-controlled clinical studies, which revealed significant improvements in skin’s defenses and reductions in wrinkle, pigmentation and skin redness in photoaged skin without using sunscreens.

Balances Skin Microbiome Diversity

Synoxyl® AZ is a novel topical agent, whose molecular structure was inspired by that of Zingerone from the Ginger plant found in nature. The REACH registered patented product balances skin microbiome diversity and stimulates skin friendly Staph. Epidermidis.

The novel ingredient provides a translational step forward towards development of more efficacious molecules to treat or prevent the consequences of intrinsic and extrinsic skin aging.
