CoValence Introduces 'Delta Aftershave' Composed of Peptides, Natural Oils & Terpenes

Published on 2013-06-07. Author : SpecialChem

CoValence has introduced Delta Aftershave, a well-executed, tier-one counter-defensive strike of the skin... Especially after the beating it takes during shaving. Delta Aftershave brings out all its ammunition to soothe and hydrate skin upon contact, making this the perfect skin solution for after shave.

Designed for all skin types, this calming gel is paraben-free, fragrance-free, and gluten-free which is optimal for even the most sensitive of skins. Regular use of Delta Aftershave reduces inflammation, heals blemishes, and firms the skin leaving it looking touchable and balanced all day long. There are several ingredients at play in Delta Aftershave that contribute to its soothing qualities.

The first anti-inflammatory ingredient is Bisabolol, a component of chamomile essential oils. This ingredient is distilled from the candeia tree, and acts as an anti-inflammatory, wound healer, antibacterial, and anti-irritant. The next component is Madecassoside, an active triterpene found in Centella Asiatica, more commonly referred to as Gotu Kola. It works to reduce potential irritation while stimulating dermal restoration.

The next element is Asiaticoside, derived from Centella Asiatica plant. It enhances wound healing, increases collagen formation, acts as an antioxidant, and improves microcirculation. The last anti-inflammatory ingredient is Ambora, also known as Tambourissa Trichophylla Bark Extract. It is taken from a tree found in Madagascar, and helps control inflammation, reinforces the skin's natural immune protection, and lessens redness, leaving the skin protected and soothed.

There are two major restorative ingredients in Delta Aftershave, so the skin is not only soothed but toned and in its ideal state. The first component is Matrixyl Sinthe'6, a peptide and wrinkle filler. Derived from a tripeptide found in collagen VI, it smooths wrinkles from the inside by stimulating the synthesis of structure macromolecules in the dermal/epidermal junction.

The second healing ingredient is Citrus Aurantium Bergamia, more commonly known as Bergamot Fruit Oil. This oil reduces levels of ROS, acts as a powerful antiseptic, and is toning and anti-microbial, making it one of the most effective ingredients in the balm. It heals, tones, cleanses, soothes, and clears, leaving freshly shaven face looking healthy, soft, and balanced.
