Colonial Chemical, Inc. has demonstrated an all-new formulation in a cleansing shampoo for makeup brushes and sponges. The formulation features Suga®Nate 100NC, Cola®Teric BBS, Poly Suga®Quat TM-8610P, and Poly Suga®Mulse D9.
Benefits of New Cleansing Shampoo
The new formulation is made with gentle and sustainable ingredients that lift away oily makeup and residue buildup, leaving brushes clean and soft; also, non-drying so makeup sponges would not deteriorate.
The newly demonstrated formulation is water based and gentle, so does not dries off quickly. A mild detergent is used in the formulation that keep the brushes hair in a good condition.
Procedure of the Formulation

Disperse xanthan gum in glycerin to create a smooth slurry.

Add the slurry to water with moderate mixing. Mix until completely hydrated.

Add ingredient Suga®Nate 100NC while heating to 45°C.

Once at temperature, add ingredients Cola®Teric BBS and Poly Suga®Quat TM-8610P. Mix until completely homogenous.

Combine ingredients Poly Suga®Mulse D9 and Euxyl® K71 separately as a premix and add to batch.

Add remaining ingredients gently to moderate mixing. Mix until the beads are evenly dispersed.
