Croda Collaborates with Entekno to Deliver Range of Mineral Sunscreens

Croda_Partners_EnteknoCroda announces collaborative partnership with Entekno Materials, which will herald a step change in solar protection. Having invested 1.5 million pounds in Entekno Materials, Croda have become a minority shareholder as well as the company’s exclusive route to market for the personal care industry.

Delivering Safe Inorganic Sunscreens


Croda will become an R&D partner, focused on driving innovation and delivering unique, natural and safe inorganic sunscreens to the market. Entekno Materials is an innovative Turkish company focused on the development of a ‘New Generation of Particle Technology’.

Phase one of the partnership will deliver the Solaveil TM MicNo® range of mineral sunscreens that Croda will introduce to the market in a managed way over the coming few months. This unique range offers exceptionally high protection performance and non-whitening benefits, attributed to the products’ unique micro platelet ZnO structure. The range consists of coated and uncoated powders plus dispersion options, with COSMOS accreditation on several.

Partnership to Protect People from UV Rays
