MAGNESIUM STEARATE

Origin

Magnesium Stearate is generally produced by the reaction between magnesium salts and stearic acid. Stearic acid is neutralized with magnesium hydroxide or magnesium carbonate, resulting in the formation of magnesium stearate. The compound is then purified, dried, and milled into a fine powder for use in cosmetics and other applications.
