Origin
CI 77007 is produced using high temperature calcination method: clay, soda ash, sulfur, charcoal, sodium sulfate, quartz and other raw materials are mixed, and the crucible is put into the high temperature calcination, the discharge is cooled, and the unburned material is selected, after impregnation, grinding, pressure filtration, and then dried, grinded, the finished ultramarine product is obtained.

Safety profile
CI 77007 is considered to be non-hazardous and safe for use in cosmetics. Contact with acids liberates hydrogen sulphide which is highly toxic and flammable. Acid resistant grades of ultramarine reduce this risk.
