Sun Care: Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen Lotion by Hallstar
This Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen Lotion provides broad spectrum (SPF/PFA <3) label SPF 20 performance. SolaStay® S1 imparts very rapid and efficient excited state quenching of avobenzone, protecting it from photodegradation. SolaStay® S1 also mitigates the photocatalytic and reactive oxygen species generating activities of the oxide to improve sunscreen performance. HallBrite® BHB contributes to UV filter solubility and enhanced product feel. This formulation was subjected to in vitro analysis and delivered SPF ~23, PFA (PPD) ~8, performance with critical wavelength 378 nm. A formulation by Hallstar.

This Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen Cream is designed to provide broad spectrum (SPF/PFA =3) performance. HallBrite® ISO is incorporated to mitigate the photocatalytic and reactive oxygen species generating activities of titanium dioxide and to rapidly and efficiently quench the excited states of avobenzone, protecting it from photodegradation, and so improve sunscreen performance. HallBrite® BHB aids wetting and dispersion of the titanium dioxide and contributes to UV filter solubility and enhanced product feel. This formulation was subjected to in vitro analysis and delivered SPF ~26, PFA (PPD) ~10 performance with critical wavelength 379 nm. A formulation by Hallstar.

This Broad Spectrum O/W SPF 40 Sunscreen Cream is designed to provide broad spectrum (SPF/PFA =3) label SPF 40 performance. SolaStay® S1 imparts very rapid and efficient excited state quenching of avobenzone, protecting it from photodegradation, while also mitigating the photocatalytic and reactive oxygen species generating activities of the oxide, improving sunscreen performance. HallBrite® BHB aids UV filter solubility and enhances product feel. This formulation was subjected to in vitro analysis and delivered SPF ~ 40, PFA (PPD) ~ 29 performance with critical wavelength 380 nm. A formulation by Hallstar.

This Broad Spectrum Oil-in-Water SPF 30 Sunscreen Cream is designed to provide superior broad spectrum (SPF/PFA <<3) label SPF 30 performance. SolaStay® S1 provides very rapid and efficient excited state quenching of avobenzone, protecting it from photo degradation, and so improves sunscreen performance. HallBrite® BHB and HallTress® DIBA Special contribute to UV filter solubility and enhance product feel. This formulation was subjected to in vitro analysis and delivered SPF ~35 (30), PFA (PPD) ~16 performance with critical wavelength 379 nm. A formulation by Hallstar.

This Broad Spectrum Oil-in-Water Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Cream features SolaStay® S1 incorporated to mitigate the photocatalytic and reactive oxygen species generating activities of the oxides. This composition was subjected to in vitro analysis and delivered SPF ~54, PFA (PPD) ~20 performance with critical wavelength 378 nm. A formulation by Hallstar.
