What is CI 14700 used for?
CI 14700 is a cosmetic colorant that is used in many personal care products like body soaps, cleansers, serums, nail polish, hair styling products, etc. It is also used in household cleaning products like dish wash detergents.
CI 14700 is not recommended to be used in make up. It can be used in easy to wash off products like face wash so that the color does not stick to the skin. The FDA allows the use of this color in skin products at not more than 6% concentration.
