Suppliers' Day 2009 took place on May 12 and 13, 2009 at the New Jersey Exposition Center, in Raritan Center, New Jersey. Organized by the New York Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, the exhibition draws suppliers, cosmetic chemists, and industry professionals featuring raw materials, fragrance and packaging, innovative delivery systems, testing labs, equipment and botanicals to this comprehensive event. More than 4,000 attendees visited the exhibition, which this year featured 300 booths, and highlighted a number of new themes and directions.Innovating for a Greener World, the catchphrase of the SCC this year, was on the minds of suppliers and attendees, as trends included alternatives to parabens, replacement ingredients, green processing and a general sensitivity to the current demands of the market for more environmentally friendly materials.
