Making Skin Look and Feel Good

SpecialChem / Nick Morante – Jun 28, 2007

From a very early age we are taught that having smooth, clear facial skin is a sign of physical attractiveness, beauty and youth. However, as we get older, maintaining that healthy glow becomes more difficult. The face is the most exposed part of the body, and is vulnerable to the harsh rays of the sun and other weather conditions. The face is also subject to acne, rashes, allergic reactions, injuries and other ailments that may leave us with permanent and sometimes unsightly scars. It is usually the first part of the body to show the physical signs of aging. There are certainly a number of non-surgical skin surface treatments that are available for individuals who want to eliminate or soften imperfections on their facial skin and achieve a clearer, fresher look. Some people do this on a very regular basis. It makes some people feel good as well as look good. These treatments include glycolic acids (sometimes called fruit acids, alpha hydroxy acids or AHA's) which are materials which occur naturally in natural fruit substances.
