On June 11, 2009, ICMAD, the Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors, held its annual C.I.T.Y. Awards, for the Cosmetic Innovators of the Year, in New York City. Following a welcome by Penni Jones, Executive Director of ICMAD, world-renowned hair stylist, Nick Arrojo, presented the awards for Personal Care Product Innovation, Color Cosmetic Innovation, Skin Care Innovation, both Professional and Mass, Personal Care Packaging, Color Cosmetic Package Design, Skin Care Packaging, Print Advertisemnt Innovation and Internet Marketing Innovation. Among the winners were Sukispa Professional Bio-Resurfacing Facial Peel, Lindi Face Wash, and Lash Control, with measured dispensing.
