Cosmeceuticals’ Beautiful Syncretism

The Sixth Annual Cosmeceuticals Conference was held on June 29 and 30, at the Downtown Conference Center of Pace University, in New York City. Program Chair, Navin Geria, Vice President, Research and Development, SpaDermaceutical Products Group, led the panel discussions and presentations addressing cosmeceutical trends in the industry, including the syncretism between cosmetic application and active functional ingredients, causes of skin aging, from UV radiation to environmental effects and genetic markers, as well as free radicals and DNA damage, and current treatments and unmet needs in skin of color.
