Every year it seems that the holidays show off some special color schemes even though we thought we were all done with color launches and everyone is anxiously waiting for the spring roll-out. Usually autumn brings a deepening and darkening of the hues that we saw in summer. Winter even darkens these colors. To keep warm we usually don clothes that are heavy textured, darker and deeper in color. From black and navy blue to dark forest green and deep brown, these colors that usually dominate seasonal apparel and accessories can easily be complimented by the colors we will see this holiday season at the cosmetics counters and at department stores. The good part is that almost any color combination can be used with these dark colors and these creative combinations will accent one's features quite well. Some of the colors we saw this fall will remain but others will be replaced by more metallic looking colors and hues with lots of shimmer.
For lips, high shine will be big and almost every product claims lip plumping properties.
