Nanovex Biotechnologies is a spin-off of the University of Oviedo founded by Rebeca Alonso and Daniel Pando with the support of multiple Chemistry professors as well as Química del Nalón in November 2014. A 100% Spanish-owned biotechnological company specializing in the design, development, and manufacture of nano-systems for drug delivery applications. In 2017, INdermal, the industrial cosmetics division of Nanovex was born to apply nanotechnology to the encapsulation of actives to dermocosmetics.
Indermal’s products are in line with industry’s sustainability measures, as they offer 100% vegan, Cosmos certified, natural, and biobased ingredients. INdermal has created a series of delivery systems capable of protecting and delivering the cosmetic active ingredients to the target area (deep epidermis, corneal layer, capillary fiber, and hair follicle), conserving their properties and increasing their efficiency by up to 12 times.
