ROMASCONE®

Methyl 2,2-dimethyl-6-methylene-1-cyclohexanecarboxylate. Acts as a fragrance ingredient. It has an aromatic and damascone-like. It has herbaceous, rosemary and thuyonic aspects, with a damascone fruity undertone. Becomes more aromatic when the dosage is increased. More fruity when very diluted. It can be used like any other damascone. Effective at very low levels. Can be used either in aromatic compositions to enhance the herbal aromatic notes or in other fragrances to give a fruity berry aspect. Contains no stabilizer. It shows tenacity for 1 hour on a smelling strip. It is used in fine fragrances, shampoo, shower gel, soap, etc.
