Carbomer. Uni-Carbomer® 676 by Uniproma Chemical acts as a thickening agent which provides high efficiency thickening and used to formulate cost-effective formulations. Exhibits excellent ability of suspending and stabilizing insoluble materials and particulates. It has improved vertical cling which minimizes dripping and increases surface contact times. Provides excellent stability in oxidizing systems such as those containing chlorine bleach or peroxides and shear thinning rheology suitable for non-aerosol sprayable or pumpable product formulations. It is effective across a broad range of pH. Uni-Carbomer® 676 is used to formulate shampoos, body washes, hair and skin care gel and hair styling gel.
