2-Methyl 5-Cyclohexylpentanol. SymDeo® B 125 by Symrise is a patented, non-organohalogen deodorizing ingredient for cosmetic applications. The aliphatic alcohol has very specific activity against microorganisms responsible for body & foot odor.

It can be used as a stand-alone, or in combination with anti-perspirants, fragrance or both.
It does not impact the human armpit microbiota, making it a microbiome-friendly ingredient.
It shows strong effectiveness even at very low dosages for an optimal cost in use.
SymDeo® B 125 alone provides 48 hr odor protection.
It is used in deodorants and across the range of personal care.
