Avena Sativa Kernel Extract (and) Maltodextrin. SymCalmin® Avena by Symrise is a sustainable soothing agent. It is obtained from regionally grown and processed organic oats. It has a highly content of avenanthramides which are concentrated from oats using a patented SymTrap® technology with natural solvents.

It helps prevent dryness and regulate the moisture balance of skin.
It targets the mast cell receptor MRGPRX2 and relieves symptoms such as itching, feeling of tension, tightness, burning or redness.
It works well with all sensitive skin types, from occasionally sensitive to atopic prone skin.
It is stable at pH between 3-5.5 and up to 90°C.
SymCalmin® Avena is especially suitable for after sun, hygiene and skin care products such as body-, face- & baby care.
It shows high efficacy and neutral color in the final formulation.
