Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate (and) Glycol Stearate. STEPAN® PEARL 2 by Stepan Company is a pearlescent agent, surfactant and emulsifier. It produces excellent pearlescence through cold blending. It is an anionic/ester blend. It can be incorporated into alcohol sulfate or alcohol ethoxylate systems. It excludes the need for external heating such as with mono and di-stearates. STEPAN® PEARL 2 is used in shampoos, bubble baths, 2 in 1 shampoo, body wash, facial cleansers and liquid hand soap. It is listed in AICS, DSL, EINECS, PICCS and TSCA.
