Tocopheryl Acetate. AC-VEA by SOHO ANECO Chemicals is an antioxidant. It is the more stable acetic acid ester of tocopherol. It has a positive effect against skin aging. This ingredient prevents skin damage by free radicals (UV rays, environmental pollution, e.g. ozone) and reduces peroxidation of skin lipids (less wrinkle). It increases the moisture-retaining ability of the epidermis and improves skin’s surface relief and feel (softness, suppleness). It decelerates the photo-oxidative processes of decomposition in hair pigment (melanin) and hair protein (keratin). AC-VEA is used in a wide range of skin care products such as lotions, age-defying creams, sunscreens and lipsticks. The shelf life of this ingredient is 36 months.
