1,2-Hexanediol. 1,2-Hexanediol by SOHO ANECO Chemicals is a highly efficient, mild & low irritating ingredient that acts as a humectant, preservative and antiseptic synergist.

It can effectively reduces transdermal moisture loss and increases skin moisture content.
It helps to reduce the concentration of traditional or alternative preservatives by boosting their anti-microbial activity.
It can be used in combination with low-dose preservatives such as phenoxyethanol and acid preservatives such as sorbic acid, benzoic acid and sodium dehydroacetate and purport to contain no p-hydroxybenzoate.
It protects formulations in the absence of conventional preservatives.
It is used in a variety of cosmetic formulations, especially suitable for baby cosmetics and sensitive skin.
It is recommended for facial-, body- & hair care (shampoos & conditioners).
The shelf life of the 1,2-Hexanediol is 24 months.
