Silmer® Q12 IDD

Trimethylsiloxysilicate (and) Isododecane. Silmer® Q12 IDD by Siltech is tetra-functional silicone containing Q group (silicone surrounded by four oxygen groups). It imparts water-proofing, soft & smooth powdery feel, pigment dispersion and non-transfer properties. It offers good color enhancement and film formation to mascaras & eye-stays. It provides stability to sunscreen formulations. Silmer® Q12 IDD is suitable for use in foundations, lip glosses and eye shadows. Its shelf life is 12 months from date of manufacture. It is listed in TSCA, DSL/NDSL, AICS, IECSC, ENCS, KECI, TCSI, NZIoC and PICCS inventories.
