Silmer® G-162A

Cyclopentasiloxane (80-95%) (and) Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer (5-20%) (and) Behenyl Dimethicone/Bis-Vinyldimethicone Crosspolymer (0.5-5%). Silmer® G-162A by Siltech is a high viscosity silicone gel in cyclopentasiloxane. It is a protective film former for use in cosmetics as flexible barrier. The benefits include uniform color, powder dispersion, waxy smooth, dry, soft and silky feel. It provides improved water-proofing properties. Silmer® G-162A is used in formulating foundations, concealers, eye shadows, face creams, gels and body lotions. Its shelf life is 36 months from the date of manufacture. This grade is listed in IECSC (China) inventory.
