Iron Oxides (CI 77491) (and) Triethoxysilylethyl Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Hexyl Dimethicone. KTP-09R by Shin-Etsu is red iron oxide pigment surface treated with silicone/alkyl chains. It offers silky feel, water repellency and good skin adherence.

It inhibits pigment aggregation and colored streaks in emulsified systems.
KTP-09R shows high hydrophobicity as well as excellent dispersing- & wetting performance in a wide range of oils.
It finds application in formulating color cosmetics ranging from liquid foundation to lip color and more.
