Acrylates / Dimethicone copolymer and Butyl acetate. KP-543 by Shin-Etsu is a film forming agent. It is a graft copolymer of acrylic polymer and dimethylpolysiloxane dissolved in butyl acetate. The copolymer possesses the property of both an acrylic resin and a silicone. The film formed is long lasting, water resistance, oil resistance, abrasion resistance and oxygen permeable. Used in nail polish.
