Trimethylsiloxysilicate (and) Methyl Trimethicone. KF-7312T by Shin-Etsu is a hard MQ resin film former. The resin is dissolved in a highly volatile fluid, which evaporates to leave behind a film that can improve a preparation's water repellence and resistance to water and sebum.

It provides non-transfer effects.
It is used in make-up and sunscreen formulations.
KF-7312T has a shelf life of 6 months.
