Hydrogenated Polyisobutene. SQUATOL S by Sensient Cosmetic Technologies acts as an emollient and excellent pigment dispersing agent. It is an oil with a silky feel on the skin and is non-greasy, similar to natural squalene. It can be used as a substitute for vegetable oils and liquid paraffin in emulsions. It gives a coherent film which protects the skin and renders the dispersion of both untreated and treated pigments. SQUATOL S finds application in formulating make-up, skin care, bath oils, sun and baby products.
