SalSphere® Minoxidil Extra Strength

Water, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Extract, Triolein, Minoxidil, Hydroxyethyl Behenamidopropyl Dimonium Chloride, Behenyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin. It is a delivery system for minoxidil that has been proven to re-grow thinning hair and stop further hair loss. Minoxidil stimulates cell proliferation, vascular endothelial growth factor, and prostaglandin synthesis. It consists of submicron spheres that encapsulate minoxidil. The spheres are solid and hydrophobic and the shell is hydrophilic and cationic. The cationic surface enables the spheres to associate with the proteinaceous portion of the skin or hair, adhering and preventing it from being washed off. The spheres are also small enough to penetrate into the hair follicles, where they disintegrate and release the minoxidil, effectively delivering it to the target site where it can best aid hair growth over time. Used in leave-on hair re-growth products.
