JADEWIN UVA Plus by Qingdao Jade New Material Technology acts as a sunscreen agent. It is a 2-(4-Diethylamino-2-hydroxybenzoyl)-benzoic acid hexyl ester compound. It offers high absorption effect on long wavelength of UV-A spectrum (320-400nm). Moreover, it provides strong protection from the free radicals produced by UV. It has good solubility in cosmetic oils and is compatible with other ingredients like TiO2. It has good light stability, enhances the SPF value of UVB sunscreen and maintains effectiveness for long time. It is used with JADEWIN UVT150 for higher SPF. JADEWIN UVA Plus finds application in formulating sunscreens.
