Palmitic Acid (>99%). KORTACID 1699 acts as an emulsifier,opacifying agent, cleansing agent and emollient. Palmitic Acid helps in reinforcing skin's healthy barrier function for a smoother surface. KORTACID 1699 can be used in variety of skin care and cosmetic formulation as emulsifier for facial creams and lotions like in shaving creams, as a surfactant in soaps, fragrance ingredient in perfumes, gelling agent in gels and as thickener and stabilizer etc.
