It also possesses emulsifying properties, hence provides the perfect texture. OLVEA® Glossy Shea is a multi-purpose ingredient which gives consistency to the formulas and builds fine structure textures. It leaves a soft finish to skin and hair which are smoothed and conditioned. This Shea-based emollient improves the overall texture and appearance of skin and hair. With its restructuring effect, this conditioning, naturally-based new ester improves hair gloss and combability. With its high content in unsaponifiable matter (tocopherols, phytosterols, triterpens, kariten, etc.), OLVEA® Glossy Shea has considerable cosmetic properties. Tocopherols and phytosterols are natural antioxidants known for their action against cellular oxidation. Due to their free radical scavenging properties, they protect the skin from external aggressions. They are famous for having anti-inflammatory properties and decreasing skin early aging.
