Persea Gratissima Oil (100%). Avocado Carrier Oil-Extra Virgin by New Directions Aromatics is cold-pressed carrier oil. It has a medium to heavy scent. It absorbs slowly and leaves sheen on the skin. It is typically added to other carrier oils to enrich their protein and vitamin content. It contains essential fatty acids such as palmitic acid (9-18%), palmitoleic acid (3-9%), stearic acid (0.4-2%), oleic acid (56-74%), linoleic acid (10-17%) and a-linolenic acid (<2%). It is a GMO- and BSE-free grade. Avocado Carrier Oil-Extra Virgin is used in soaps, lotions and creams.
