Hizikia Fusiforme Extract. Tot Extract by Natural Solution acts as an anti-atopic, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and UV protecting agent. It is an extract of the alga, hizikia fusiforme. It contains fucosterol, fucoxanthin, fucoidans and laminarans as active compounds. Fucosterol exhibits anti-photoaging or UV protective effect by inhibiting the activity of collagenase and boosting collagen synthesis when UV was irradiated. Tot Extract finds application in formulating cosmetic products.
