Rhus Semialata Gall Extract. Obeza Extract by The Garden of Naturalsolution acts as an anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-aging and anti-oxidant agent. It is an extract of the galls formed by melaphis chinensis parasitized on the leaves of Chinese sumach plant. It contains 1,2,3,4,6-penta-O-galloyl-b-d-glucoside and gallotannins as active compounds. It inhibits TNF-a & IL-6 expression, COX-2 & iNOS expression and NF-kB expression. Obeza Extract finds application in formulating cosmetic products.
