Coptis Japonica Root Extract. Hwangryun Extract by Natural Solution acts as an anti-photoaging, anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. It is an extract of the roots of coptis japonica herb. It contains lignans and diverse alkaloids like coptisine, magnoflorine, berberine and palmatine as active compounds. It exhibits high scavenging activity of reactive oxygen species and photoprotective effect against UV induced oxidative damage in skin. Hwangryun Extract finds application in formulating cosmetic products.
