Ground Ivy Extract-NS

Glechoma Hederacea Extract. Ground Ivy Extract-NS by Natural Solution acts as an anti-inflammatory and skin brightening agent. It is an extract of the whole plant, glechoma hederacea. It contains rosmarinic acid, apigenin and luteolin as active compounds. Rosmarinic acid exhibits anti-inflammatory activity by inhibiting the production of NF-kB and expression of COX-2 & iNOS. It inhibits cellular biosynthesis of melanin and cellular tyrosinase by suppressing MITF. Moreover, it shows depigmenting effect. Ground Ivy Extract-NS finds application in formulating skin care products.
