Velvesil* DM gel

Dimethicone (and) Cetearyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer. Velvesil* DM gel by Momentive Performance Materials acts as an effective thickener and as a carrier for fragrances. It is a non-emulsifying multi-functional silicone copolymer. Offers enhanced sensory benefits in skin care and other cosmetic formulations. It spreads easily on the skin leaving an exquisite and long-lasting silky feel. It enhances fragrance deposition and longevity. Used in a wide range of hair care products such as rinse-off and leave-on conditioners, styling products especially for heat-styling applications, anti-aging, sunscreen and moisturizing products. Velvesil* DM gel exhibits shear thinning behavior which results in cosmetic products that spread easily during application.
