Silsoft* 860

PEG-10 Dimethicone. It acts as an emollient and is a member of the dimethicone copolyol family of multifunctional surface tension reducing molecules. The dimethicone portion of the copolyol can deliver remarkable sensory qualities to skin care formulations and the polyether component can contribute to emulsification differential solubility and compatibility as well as provide ease of use during processing. Can provide an excellent after-feel on the skin when used in hydroalcoholic hand sanitizing gels and hand sanitizing soaps, which can often leave the skin feeling dry and irritated after repeated use. The polyether portion of the Silsoft* 860 conditioning agent can provide excellent compatibility, solubility and clarity without having a negative impact on foam generation or quality. Its application is in hand wash and toiletries products.
