Cyclotetrasiloxane. SF1173 fluid by Momentive Performance Materials acts as a lubricant. Offers greater flexibility in formulating cosmetic products. Compatible with many organic materials and solvents. Improves the efficacy of antiperspirants and wet combing. Exhibits low surface tension, low viscosity and good spreadability. It is a volatile silicone fluid having a dry non-greasy feel and no oily residue. SF1173 fluid is used in antiperspirants, skin care products, sunscreen products, hair conditioners and facial make-up products.
