Silsoft* 1215 by Momentive Performance Materials is the cyclic silicone acts as a volatile carrier, spreading the high molecular weight silicone uniformly across a surface and then volatilizing to leave a thin film of silicone. In skin care it imparts a smooth, non-greasy feel, provides excellent emolliency and improves the spreadability as well as rub-in.

• In hair care it enhances the shine, wet and dry combing, improves the softness, provides improved manageability as well as conditioning.
• Silsoft* 1215 is used in protective skin products, sun screen products, facial make-up, lotions, color cosmetics, hair conditioners-leave-in and rinse-off as well as in cuticle laminant.
