Dimethicone. CF1251 by Momentive Performance Materials acts as an emollient. It is a blend of silicone gum of a high molecular weight silicone polymer dispersed in a low viscosity silicone fluid. Offers excellent wet and dry combing. Provides improved softness, manageability, shine and conditioning. Imparts a soft, smooth, velvety feel, durable film and improved spreadibility. CF1251 is used in protective skin products, sunscreen products, facial make-up, lotion, color cosmetics, shampoos and hair conditioners.
