Macare® HP-230

Acrylates copolymer. Macare® HP-230 acts as film forming agent. It is a low viscosity acrylic emulsion polymer which delivers crystal-clear, practically colorless film forming solution allowing formulators to produce hair styling products with volume, soft feel and dry combability. Macare® HP-230 delivers flexible hold performance and curl retention with humidity resistance and good wash-out removability for no residue or build up. It allows very low viscosities in high water formulations, with molecular weights optimized for humidity resistance, imparting a light, cushiony feel and an enhanced tactile experience in use. It is a non-toxic, efficient, cost effective and easy-to-use hair care polymer suitable for use in formulations which demand superior appearance, exceptional clarity, smooth flow (shear thinning) and suspending or stabilizing properties in hair fixative systems like hair sprays, hair gels and styling mousse products. Its broad compatibility with typical cosmetics ingredients makes it ideal for used in skin care applications as well.
