Salicylic Acid Solution

Cocamidopropyl Dimethylamine (56-64%) (and) Salicylic Acid (36-44%). Salicylic Acid Solution by MakingCosmetics acts as an exfoliant and anti-acne agent. It has the same benefits as salicylic acid powder, but it is less irritating and easier to formulate (as there are no dusting or dissolving problems). It is cold processable. It can be used in peels and exfoliants, anti-dandruff products, products for oily, acne and/or blemished skin and in wart-removing products. Salicylic acid is prepared from dry sodium phenoxide in a stream of carbon dioxide, which is further purified by crystallizing the sodium salicylate from water at a temperature not exceeding 20°C. It is then dissolved in cocamidopropyl dimethylamine, an amidoamine-type emulsifier made from coconut oil. Salicylic Acid Solution is vegan, GMO- and preservative-free. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
