Polyvinylpyrrolidone. PVP by MakingCosmetics is an effective thickening agent and film former for hair gels, hair sprays and color cosmetics. It is very pH stable, non-ionic and colorless. It is used in combination with carbomer or other thickeners to give stiffer hold in hair gels. It is a vegan-certified, GMO-free grade. PVP has a shelf life of 24 months.
