Pyrus Malus Fruit Extract (and) Glycerin (and) Aqua. Apple Extract by MakingCosmetics is a moisturizing agent and antioxidant. It is extracted and purified from apple fruits in a medium of glycerin and water (50:50). It is preserved with potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate. It contains various carbohydrates (reducing sugars), a-hydroxyacids (AHA), phenol compounds and a high amount of vitamin C. It reduces trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL) due to the various carbohydrates. It also possesses slight exfoliating activities due to a-hydroxyacids (AHA). Apple Extract offers free radicals scavenging properties. It is used in anti-aging-, anti-wrinkle as well as moisturizing skin care & hair care products. It is GMO-free, organic & vegan certified. The shelf life is 24 months.
