Merquat™ 280SD polymer

Polyquaternium-22. Merquat™ 280SD polymer by Lubrizol is a conditioner. It is a dry, non-preserved, cationic polymer with ampholytic characteristics. It possesses excellent stability in extreme pH applications. It enables the reduction of ammonia and hair dye levels. It helps to improve the saturation of hair colors, improves the wet combability of hair dyes & provides a smooth, soft feel to hair. This ingredient improves wet & dry combing in shampoo systems. It provides stable, rich and dense foam. Merquat™ 280SD polymer is used in hair care, chemical hair treatments, powder bleaches and depilatories. Also used in hair coloring, hand soaps and shampoos.
