Aqua (and) Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (and) Caprylyl Glycol. Argireline® peptide solution C by Lubrizol is an anti-wrinkle agent. This hexapeptide is designed to mimic Botulinum Toxin. It destabilizes the SNARE complex, minimizing the fusion of neurotransmitter-loaded vesicles with the neuron membrane. As a consequence, minimal neurotransmitters are released to the synapse and muscle contraction is reduced, creating an anti-wrinkle effect. Argireline® peptide solution C is suitable for cosmetic applications.
