Cationic guar gum. Is a self-hydrating, medium viscosity cationic polymer obtained by quaternisation of guar gum. Acts as a very good conditioner and thickening agent for hair and skin formulations. Interacts with the horny skin layer, thus reducing negative effects of soaps and surfactants. Also suggested as foam booster as well as substantivity agent in shampoos, shaving creams, balsams and liquid soap formulations.
