R-Perillic Acid by Kraeber & Co exhibits broad antimicrobial and antifungal spectrum. It is active against gram-positive- & gram-negative bacteria, yeasts and moulds/mycobacteria. It is an ultra-pure monoterpene derivative and is one of the major metabolites of many naturally occurring monoterpenes found in plants. It can protect the cosmetic product from invasion & damage, oxidation and chemical decomposition. It shows its best effect in formulations with a pH of 4-8 and ideal for handling in rinse-off and leave-on products. This high performance substance obtained from natural fermentation processes. It is more efficient than commonly used preservatives like parabens, halogenated compounds or formaldehyde. It is recommended for shampoos, creams & lotions, sunscreens and conditioners.R-Perillic Acid is designed for use in deodorizing products, cleansing lotions, moisturizers & oils. The shelf life of the product is 24 months.
