Rhus Succedanea Fruit Cera. Sumac Wax #424 by Koster Keunen acts as a wax & consistency factor, film former, emollient and barrier. It is a vegetable wax derived from the protective coating on the berry kernels of several varieties of the chinese sumac (haze) tree. It is an all-natural wax without greasy after-feel. It creates a butter-like consistency without crystallization issues and can be used to replace japan wax. Sumac Wax #424 finds application in formulating lipsticks, lip balms, creams, lotions, stick pencils and hair pomade products.
